Rulai is opening its platform, free of charge, to any enterprise interested in using advanced virtual assistant technology to handle coronavirus-related employee questions and requests.

To help companies get started, Rulai has pre-built and pre-trained a coronavirus bot that is able to tackle 4 use cases:

  1. General Q&A: information is retrieved from reliable sources such as CDC and WHO, and ingested in Q&A format using Rulai’s AI Knowledge Accelerator. The information is kept up-to-date automatically.
  2. Company-specific Q&A: the bot contains 30+ pre-trained intents that every company should have answers for (e.g. can I work from home?). Companies can update the bot with their specific answers and add new Q&A pairs without any coding.
  3. Action intents: focused on enabling the employee to notify HR about various conditions (symptoms, sickness, infection, exposure, etc.) and kick off the right internal procedures. Rulai has pre-built integrations with the most commonly used HR systems and RPA providers.
  4. Escalation: the employee can escalate the conversation at any time to a human agent, who can take over in-context. Rulai has pre-built integrations with most service desk software platforms to handle seamless handover.

Companies will be able to access all capabilities of the platform, including its design studio and advanced level 3 Dialogue Manager, to modify or add new intents and integrations. In addition, they can deploy their corona-bot on any internal channel such as intranet, slack, etc., all without writing a single line of code or relying on specialized AI resources.

Rulai will waive all fees to launch and operate the pre-built bot through July 1, 2020. In addition, we will host weekly office hours to guide and assist users in developing their customized corona-bot. Finally, we have partnered with several system integrators and contact center BPOs in case more advanced integrations are required.
